ChatGPT Subscription ≠ API Billing (Astra Access)

A ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, or Enterprise subscription does not include OpenAI API credit. API usage is billed separately on an API project with billing enabled. For gpt-6-astra, OpenAI lists Free tier as not supported — you need a billed project at least at Tier 1 before agent traffic will run.

ChatGPT plans and API billing are separate

Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise pay for the ChatGPT product. They do not add credit to an API project. API usage is billed on an API project with billing enabled — a different invoice, a different console.

gpt-6-astra: Free tier is not supported

OpenAI lists Free tier as not supported for this model. You need a billed project at least at Tier 1 before agent traffic will run. Having ChatGPT Pro in the model picker does not unlock the API.
